Flamingos
Together with my fellow artist (who happens to be my mom) I got to visit the zoo in Rostock. We went straight for the flamingos, because they're my mother's favorite animal. In English, this species is called "American flamingo", but if you reverse-translate it from German to English it would be "Cuban flamingo", which seems funny to me. These guys were quite lively (and loud!) , and that didn't help at all with the sketching. So in the end I took some videos and pictures to refine my work with.
