I like the contradiction of the crisp lines of the overall scene and the rough chalk of the details. It adds such a nice contrast.
I am still unsure whether this illustration works better with or without a light source behind the mountain. So I added this version for completeness' sake.
The idea for this project came to me while half asleep. I drew the roughest of sketches with pencil and paper so I wouldn’t forget it later.
