Q as in Quetzal

To me, miniatures and illustrated initials in children's books always were a big joy and inspiration. So much so that I started creating my own sets of letters on canvas and paper. Now it's finally time for this project to transition to the digital world, and for me to make use of the endless possibilities of digital illustration. I just think initials are a lovely method of combining storytelling and text design! Incidentally, I was lucky enough to encounter a wild quetzal once, and it's coloring makes it one of my favourite birds. They're quite small.
